However, life took an unexpected turn when my father, a man who owned multiple businesses, suffered a severe stroke in 2013. My brothers and I had to step into the workforce, taking jobs under others. Those years as an employee were eye-opening, revealing how workers were often treated as replaceable cogs in a machine. I made a promise to myself during that time: If I ever opened my own business, I would treat my employees with the respect and dignity they deserved while creating an environment that customers would love.

Fast forward a few years, and I found myself working at a local vape shop. That job wasn’t just a paycheck; it was a turning point. The owner, a kind and knowledgeable mentor, took me under his wing and taught me the ropes of the vape industry. When he passed away, I was left with not only a deep respect for the craft but also a vision for my own business. Today, I am proud to co-own Vape District with my brother-in-law and business partner, building something that honors my mentor’s legacy while standing out in a competitive market.
