Since making his long-awaited return to music, Big Jon has been steadily rebuilding his presence within the industry. After releasing his EP on January 1st, 2025, he spent much of the year performing at small open-mic venues throughout Baltimore. During this time, he also appeared on multiple podcasts, received media coverage through various published articles, and was interviewed by the internet radio station Chicago 77.3, helping him reconnect with audiences and expand his reach.
As 2025 progressed, Big Jon continued to release new music, including the single Level Up, which was recorded at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd, 2025. In October, he returned to Baltimore to record additional tracks, beginning with Don’t Mess With the Flock. The diss track directly criticized the Baltimore Ravens organization, calling out poor performances and repeated playoff failures during the Lamar Jackson era. The track was officially released on November 5th, 2025.
He later released another single titled Persona on December 24th, 2025, and is currently preparing to drop a new track called The Flames sometime in January. While continuing to build his catalog, Big Jon has been actively searching for a manager or agent to help bring his career to a mainstream level. His vision includes touring nationwide and collaborating with major artists across multiple genres.
Much of Big Jon’s motivation has come from honoring his mother, but in October he suffered another heartbreaking loss when his grandmother passed away at 89 due to kidney failure. Following her funeral in November, he vowed to continue pursuing his dreams to honor her memory.
Looking ahead to 2026, Big Jon plans to travel to Los Angeles in March to record a new single titled Reload. He remains focused on performing, networking, and taking advantage of every opportunity, refusing to give up regardless of the challenges ahead.
