Marcus The Messiah: Building a Movement of Authenticity With “21st Century” and N/A

In today’s music landscape, where image often overshadows message, Marcus The Messiah is carving his own lane built on truth, resilience, and purpose. The 23-year-old rapper from San Antonio, Texas, has transformed his life experiences into art that speaks to a generation hungry for something real. With his upcoming EP, “21st Century,” set to drop on October 18, Marcus is proving that his voice is more than just another sound in hip-hop — it’s a movement.

Marcus’s story began long before studio sessions and streaming platforms. As a kid growing up in San Antonio, he was surrounded by music that shaped his creative foundation. “My dad played all kinds of music when I was growing up,” Marcus recalls. “Mary J. Blige, the Black Eyed Peas, Kid Cudi — all of that influenced me.” From those early days, Marcus learned that music could move people emotionally, not just make them dance.

But it was poetry that sparked his journey as a lyricist. Writing became his outlet, a safe place to express thoughts he couldn’t always say out loud. “I started writing poetry in elementary school,” he says. “Then I realized it could sound like a song, so I recorded one. That’s when everything started to click.” What began as a hobby quickly became a purpose — and that purpose evolved into the artist now known as Marcus The Messiah.

What makes Marcus stand out is his willingness to turn pain into power. Living with bipolar disorder and navigating the court system shaped his worldview but never defined him. Instead of letting challenges hold him back, he used them to build something greater. “It took time to sort out my issues,” he shares, “but now I’m in the best place I’ve ever been.” That emotional growth fuels every verse he writes.

His upcoming project, “21st Century,” is an honest reflection of his evolution. It dives deep into themes of mental health, love, and survival in an unpredictable world. “This project talks about the modern-day struggles people face — mentally, emotionally, and socially,” Marcus explains. “It’s about finding peace in the middle of chaos.” Songs like I Love Myself deliver that message loud and clear, blending musical experimentation with raw self-expression.

But Marcus’s vision stretches far beyond his own music. He’s the founder of N/A, which stands for Never Accepted, Never Appreciated, Never Alone, and Never Around. It’s more than a name — it’s a lifestyle, a symbol of unity for people who have ever felt invisible. “N/A is my community,” Marcus says proudly. “It represents the people who feel like outsiders but still keep pushing. One day, I want to make it a label that supports artists who aren’t afraid to be different.”

Marcus has already begun building this creative ecosystem through collaborations with artists like RLP Son, Lu Rock, and Jit from Duval — all of whom share his passion for authenticity. Together, they’re bringing N/A to life, not as a trend, but as a statement.

What sets Marcus apart in today’s rap scene is his balance between vulnerability and confidence. He’s not afraid to admit where he’s been, but he also knows where he’s going. His music bridges the gap between struggle and hope, proving that real stories still have power in a digital age.

As “21st Century” approaches its release, the momentum around Marcus The Messiah continues to grow. He isn’t chasing fame — he’s building legacy. His mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire, to heal, and to remind the world that authenticity never goes out of style.

“21st Century” will be available October 18 on all streaming platforms. Follow Marcus The Messiah on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to join the N/A movement and experience the next chapter of his journey.
