Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics named 2023 NBA All-Star Game MVP, breaking scoring record with 55 points

Jayson Tatum, a star for the Boston Celtics, broke NBA All-Star Game records on Sunday night with an outstanding performance. Tatum scored 55 points and was named All-Star Game MVP, impressing everyone with his skills. He expressed his gratitude for setting the scoring record and acknowledged that it will likely be broken in the future. Tatum’s teammate, Giannis Antetokounmpo, chose him as a starter for the pre-game draft, which turned out to be an excellent decision. Tatum’s seriousness and talent gave him an advantage over other players. He finished the game with 20 of 31 field goals, including 10 of 18 from the 3-point line, as well as 10 rebounds and six assists. He also set the record for the most points in a single quarter in All-Star history with 27 in the third frame. During the game, Tatum engaged in a friendly one-on-one duel with his Celtics teammate, Jaylen Brown. The evening’s most entertaining part was when they each made one basket and got one stop. Tatum’s MVP win was the ninth in Celtics history, and the first in over 40 years.
