Matthew Nino Azcuy, better known by his stage name MNA, is a talented singer-songwriter who has been making waves in the music industry. Born and raised in the small town of Olney, Maryland, MNA was heavily influenced by the greatest rappers and musicians of the 1990s and early 2000s. During this golden age of music, he was inspired by both rappers and rock groups alike, and at the age of sixteen, he decided to make his own music. He often incorporates bits of humor into his delivery, which keeps the vibe fresh and fun. As well as being an accomplished singer and songwriter, MNA has also dabbled in several other creative fields as a professional movie actor and published author, with numerous works of poetry to his name. Some of his previous musical albums include titles such as “Black Flag”, “Paradise”, and “For You”. MNA’s music has gained popularity, with over 1000 monthly listens on Spotify alone, and it’s fair to say he’s an up-and-coming artist to keep an eye on! MNA’s latest album “Mercenary” was released on January 22, 2022, and it depicts the battle inside of every entrepreneur. This album compares a businessman to a gun for hire, and the personal sacrifice of war and soldiers, albeit for profit. “Mercenary” was inspired by the personal successes and two-year journey of MNA and his music production company, MNA Industries, in the music world. Recorded by City’s Best Sounds in Olney, MD, this album is about the dark fantasy world in which rap culture and the entertainment industry exist. MNA is a talented musician who has carved out a unique space in the music industry. His passion for music and songwriting, combined with his versatility and creativity, has led him to create works that are both entertaining and thought-provoking.
