For DQ Rogers, that beat came from DJ Unk’s hit “Walk It Out.” “Something about that song just made me feel like I could do this,” he says. “That’s when I knew I wanted to make music.”
In 2015, he turned that spark into action and started creating original music seriously. What began as curiosity grew into a career — one built on honesty, hustle, and the hunger to live through sound.
Now he’s gearing up for his new project TARE, produced entirely by his homie thesmoothcat, set to drop on 11/11. “We connected crazy on this one. It’s different, but it’s still me.”
